Mr. Jamel Burroughs, LCSW-R, CEAP

Mr. Jamel Burroughs is the CEO/Founder of the Burroughs Psychotherapy Practice, LCSW, P.C. He is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and a Certified Employee Assistance Professional. Mr. Burroughs holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Columbia University, and is a graduate of The New School for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy & Psychoanalysis: Child & Adolescent Program.

He has additional training in aromatherapy and other creative therapies including music, art, and writing therapy. Within his fifteen years of experience, Mr. Burroughs has treated all of the disorders first diagnosed in infancy, childhood, and adolescence—specializing in a creative approach to psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
